Chesapeake Energy's Downhole Drilling and Fracing Animation
Created using a combination of 3D modeling and 2D illustrations. These pieces were then taken into After Effects for the final animation and rendering process. This rig model is available customization and use in other projects.
Cased Hole Solutions Downhole Tool Animation
This project was animated almost entirely using 3D models. Vehicles and tools were modeled from reference photos taken onsite. The logo area and text were then added in post production. The full version also includes further explaination.
Bio Tech Production System Cleaning Animation
This animation illustrates how Bio Tech's microbes clean the equipment and pipes to increase production. This project was completed almost intirely using illustrations that were then animated. This is very cost effective while retaining good results.
3D Modeled Bit Mud Motor
This animation was created entirely in 3D. To create the mud flow effect, 6 seperate particle systems with an associated gravity modifier we used. This video is a small part of a larger project, not shown here.
Solar Car Concepts in 3D
Here is a concept for a solar car that was created using patent drawings as refrence. This is a great example of taking a customers vision and creating an animation that helps share his vision with others.
Ident-i-check Logo Animation
This animation was created from the vector file of an existing logo. Othere pieces were created an integrated into the design to help communicate the goals of the company. The animation is used as an intro to the web site.
Nalco Illustration
A technical illustration done to help visualize a process. This was created from a sketch and an example illustration supplied by the custom. We try to match any existing styles you may already use to maintain unity in your marketing material.
Chesapeake Energy's Interactive Rig Reference Flash Project
3D models were combined with a digitally illustrated interface in flash to creat a quick and easy reference tool for learning information about different parts of a drilling rig.
